This article presents the estimated height of Desir Arman based on our own research and observations. The official height of Desir Arman remains unknown. The height data listed in this article should be considered as a rough height estimate for the character considering that there is very limited references available in creating an accurate height estimate.
Desir Arman’s height was estimated based on an inference about his physical stature on A Returner’s Magic Should be Special Fandom. In his profile page on the fandom, on the “appearance” section, the following lines were stated.
“Desir Arman is a normal-looking teenager. He is a tall guy with fair complexion. He has thick black hair which is described as unbrushed. His face is long and strongly tapers towards his chin. Likes dressing casually. After losing sight in his left eye, he styles his hair to cover up the left eye, as a means to possibly hide his disability. “
The appearance section description about Arman mentions that he is a “tall teenager”. This indicates that his height, if we use Japanese perspective, must deviate far from the average Japanese male teenager height.
The average male teenager height in Japan should lean pretty close to the average Japanese adult male height which is 170.8 cm. In this scenario, we will assume that the average teen male height would be around 170cm.
According to this one article from Escape to Asia, the average height in Japan is 172 cm (5’7″) for men and 158 cm (5’2″) for women. Therefore, if you are above 6 feet (183 cm), you will likely stand out and receive compliments for your height. You may also hit your head on some old doorways.
The statement above indicates that people who around 6 feet in height, would be considered tall in Japan, this gives us an idea that it is pretty likely that Arman would fall around the height range. In this scenario, we will give Arman an estimated height range of around 5’10 to 6’1.
