The data presented in this article are the estimated height values for the characters based on our observations.
Seiji Mukai, a main character in the anime, is used as a main frame of reference in calculating the character’s heights.
Before we were able to calculate other characters relative to Seiji Mukai, we first had to figure out Seiji Mukai’s estimated height. This was done by observing the scale difference between him and a reception desk counter in this Youtube Clip Liza can’t Bear the Cuteness of Earth’s Animals | Kawaisugi Crisis Episode 1 Recap. We can see that at [1:20], we can see Seiji Mukai stand in frame next to a standing reception desk. According to Spaceist, a standing desk will typically having a height range between 95 cm and 100 cm. In this scenario, we will use the midpoint which is 97.5 cm as a height value for the desk. If we observe the frame closely, we can see that the total height of the desk is in level with Mukai’s upper hip / lower waist height.
By observing the scale difference between Mukai and the desk using Hikaku Sitatter Height Comparison Tool, we can see that Mukai falls around the height range between 177 – 180 cm.
Now that we have Seiji Mukai’s estimated height value, we can now proceed and try to estimate other characters’ heights by placing them relative to Mukai and then observing their height differences.
For these estimates, we use the following images as our references.
Our first image is taken from Anime News Network, it shows Mukai, a cat, Liza Luna, and Kasumi Yanagi all in one frame.
In this image, we can see that Liza Luna has a total height in level with Seiji Mukai’s eye height, with the help of Hikaku Sitatter Height Comparison Tool we are able to visualize her height to be around 165cm.
As for Kasumi Yanagi, her height appears to be in the same height level as Mukai’s nose height, therefore she should be around 160cm.
Another image we have is taken from Anime Trending, it shows several characters including Luster Call, Garumi Lou, Amato Roy, Sasara Azuma, Mitsuhiko Azuma and Fiana Tiary.
In order to keep the integrity in this estimate, we will first need to find the estimate height of at least one of the characters in this image since we cannot use Mukai in this same image as a frame of reference in estimating any of the character’s height because he is not present in the image.
In this case, we will use Luster Call’s estimated height. Luster Call’s height was first estimated by observing her height difference towards Liza Luna in this Youtube Video TVアニメ「カワイスギクライシス」ノンクレジットOP｜超学生「スペースキャットビッグバン」.
In the timeframe [0:32], we can see Liza Luna, Luster Call and Garumi Lou sit in the same frame. The frame shows us that Luster Call has a total height in level with Liza Luna’s eyebrow height. By using Hikaku Sitatter Height Comparison Tool, we are able to visualize the height difference between Luna and Call, giving call and estimated height value of around 155 cm.
Now that we have Luster Call’s estimated height, we can now proceed and create an estimate for the other characters using Luster Call’s height as a reference.
The following data has been extracted through visualizing the characters scale difference using Hikaku Sitatter Height Comparison Tool:
Garumi Lou is just a few centimetres shorter compared to Luster Call, this gives her an estimated height value of around 153 cm.
Amato Roy’s upper nose height is in the same height level as Luster Call’s total height, giving him an estimated height value of around 170cm.
Sasara Azuma appears to have the exact same height as Garumi Lou, therefore she should be also around 153cm.
Mitsuhiko Azuma’s lower nose height is in the same line as Luster Call’s maximum height, this gives him a height around 173cm.
Fiana Tiary’s forehead height is in the same line as Luster Call’s total height, giving her an estimated height value of around 160cm.
