The data presented in this article are not the official heights for the characters. The official heights of the characters are still undisclosed as of the time of writing this article. The height data listed here is an estimated height data for the characters deduced from our research and observations.
This height estimate will follow a structure where we first take the estimated height for one character and then we will observe the scale difference between that character compared to other characters.
In this article, we will be using Tetsuo Tosu, the main character, as our base for reference.
Before we actually start estimating any of the character’s heights, we first need to use Tetsuo Tosu’s height as a main base for reference; therefore we first have to figure out what is Tetsuo’s estimated height.
The first reference we have in calculating Tetsuo’s height would be when he is standing alongside an apartment door. This frame can be found in the first episode of the show in this Youtube Video [《My Home Hero》#1 (ENG sub | JP dub)【Ani-One Asia】] at the time frame [8:41].
As can be seen from the frame, we can see Tetsou Tosu standing inside a door frame as he is entering an apartment. He appears to take up around 85% of the door height. Assuming that the apartment door is around 80 inches (203cm) in height (standard front door height based on , if our assumption here is correct, it should give Tetsuo Tosu an estimated height of around 175cm.
Another observation which backs up this claim is that, by observing Tetsuo Tosu in several frames in the show, we can see that in crowded area, Tetsou Tosu appears to be just slightly taller compared to other male characters, therefore it is very likely that he is around 175cm considering that in Japan, the average Japanese male height is around 170.8cm according to Healthline.
Now that we have Tetsuo Tosu’s height, we can now proceed and observe the scale difference between him and other characters.
Based on the image above, we can see several characters in frame along with Tetsuo Tosu. This image will be used in observing the height difference between the characters. The image was taken from one blog article on nntheblog.
#1 Kasen Tosu
The first character on our list would be Kasen Tosu, the wife of Tetsuo Tosu.
As can be observed on the image above, we can see that Kasen is just a few centimetres away from Tetsuo’s total height. However, without the heels, she should be around 168 centimetres.

#2 Reika Tosu
The second character is Reika Tosu, she is the daughter of Tetsuo Tosu.
As can be observed in the image, Reika is significantly shorter compared to Tetsuo, we estimate her to be around the height of 163cm (heel height not subtracted).

#3 Kyoichi Majima
Kyoichi Majima appears to be around the height of 168cm. He is 20 year old supporting enemy character in the series.

#4 Yoshitatsu Matori
Yoshitatsu Matori is the father of Nobuto Matori, he is also a gangster and is an enemy supporting character in the show.
As can be observed on his image, he appears to be slightly shorter compared to Tetsuo’s height, with his total height reaching only that of Tetsuo’s forehead.
Yoshitatsu Matori should be around the height of 170cm.

#5 Nobuto Matori
Nobuto Matori is the son of Yoshitatsu Matori. He is the first gangster who fell as victim in the show. He is also the boyfriend of Reika Tosu.
As can be observed on the image above, we can see that without including his height, his total height reaches the same level as Tetsuo’s forehead, pretty much just like his father, Yoshitatsu Matori. Therefore as an estimate, we shall give Nobuto Matori an estimate height range of around 170cm.

#6 Hibiki
Hibiki is another supporting character in the show. Hibiki is an ex-girlfriend to Nobuto Matori.
As observed by the scale difference between her and Tetsuo, Hibiki, with the added heel height, appears to be around the height range in level with Tetsuo’s eyes; therefore, we give her an estimate height of around 167cm.

#7 Kubo
Kubo is a supporting character in the show. He is an enemy towards Tetsuo and is a skilled hitman and is also the leader of a gangster group.
His height is pretty close to Tetsuo’s height. By observing the scale difference between the two, we can see that Kubo is just around 3cm shorter compared to Tetsuo. Therefore as a conclusion, we will give him an estimated height of around 172 cm.
