ANALYSIS OF THE IMMORTAL AND HUMAN MAIN CHARACTERS’ HEIGHTS

According to To Your Eternity Fandom, the characters of the series are composed of one immortal, Fushi, and five human characters namely March, Parona, Hayase, Gugu and Tonari. Based on their fandoms, the information that you can get are their ages only and no one have information of their heights. So, we need to estimate the measurement of their heights based on how they were described and appeared on the series.

FUSHI

Fushi’s life is quite interesting because he is actually an immortal being. He begins his life as an orb and then becomes a rock, then a wolf, and finally, a boy as stated on Fandom. Moreover, Fushi’s fandom mentioned his unique ability to mimic the form of anything that has provided him with sufficient stimuli.

On the other hand, we will estimate his height based on his human form. As mentioned in his fandom, he is 233 years old according to Kohaku while other books would tell that he is 800 years old. But his age could not be the reference so we should consider how he looks on the images from To Your Eternity and other websites. Moreover, based on the trailer on IMDb, he has a gray wolf companion with him which can also be the reference point for his height. It seems like the height of the wolf is on his hips level. Furthermore, according to Answers, the gray wolf has a height of 2 feet tall. So, we could consider Fushi’s height to be three times the height of the wolf considering that it is only his hips level. Then, probably, Fushi is 6 feet tall.

MARCH

March is a 4 or 8 years old small little girl according to her fandom. As described also from her fandom, she is a young girl with long black hair and brown eyes. She is also an elementary pupil. With that information from her, we can infer that she is really a short girl. However, we cannot really tell how tall she is without knowing her appearance so, we look for YouTube videos that involve her.

As shown in this YouTube video clip, you can see March crying because Fushi steals her food. On the other hand, we can see that she is about 2/5 of Fushi’s height and we have an estimated height for Fushi already. So, we can say that March’s height is probably 2 feet and 4.8 inches tall.

PARONA

According to her fandom, Parona was a young girl around the age of 15. She had long black hair tied in a loose ponytail and wore a dress with cloth wrapped around her arms, legs, and torso. Since she is a teenager, we can say that she is taller than March, an elementary kid. Moreover, as shown in this YouTube video, Parona is about two times taller than March so we could say that she is probably 4 feet and 9.6 inches tall.

GUGU

However, Gugu currently boasts a very muscular build, owed to his strength training during his original life in Takunaha, and his stomach is no longer distended. He is also one of Fushi’s taller companions, standing above most people he interacts with.

Moreover, as shown in this YouTube video, he proposes to Rean and we can see that he is really a tall guy. As mentioned on the first paragraph, Gugu is one of the taller companions of Fushi so we can estimate his height to be taller than Fushi which could be 6 feet and 2 inches tall approximately.

TONARI

As described on her fandom, Tonari is a young girl about 14 years old. She has short brown hair, green eyes, and tan skin. However, in the second season of the anime series, she meets Fushi again but during this time she is actually older and doesn’t look like a 14 year old girl. The scene can be shown on this YouTube video, she is talking to Fushi about their past together. On the other hand, it looks like she is also a tall girl since she has almost the same height with Fushi here. But she was wearing boots that added to her height. So, we can say that Tonari is probably 5 feet and 5 inches tall approximately.
