EXPLANATION OF THE AAAHH!!! REAL MONSTERS CHARACTERS’ HEIGHTS

For the monsters’ heights, first, we compared how they stand beside humans and then further approximated their heights when standing beside each other.

From the show trailer, monsters are about half the average male human height.

According to Healthline, adult males stand at about 5 feet and 7 inches. Therefore, monsters stand at about 2 feet and 8 inches.

Then, we designated this height to Krumm as he is one of the average-sized monsters.

Next, Krumm is about half a foot shorter than The Gromble, and The Snorch stands at about three inches shorter than The Gromble. By association, The Snorch is approximately 3 inches taller than Krumm at 2 feet and 11 inches.

Lastly, Zimbo is half of The Snorch’s height at about one foot and 5 inches, as seen in the show stills.

We based Krumm’s age on how old his roommates are in the academy. His roommates, Ickis and Oblina, are in their 90s. Therefore, we also estimated Krumm to be at least 90 years old.

Then, we estimated The Snorch and Zimbo’s ages based on how old they were when the show debuted.

From The Snorch’s Fandom Wiki page, he was born in 1987; this makes him about seven years old when the show was first released in 1994.

Moreover, Zimbo was born in 1986, making him older than The Snorch at eight years old.
