EXPLANATION OF THE LONG DARK CHARACTERS’ HEIGHTS

We estimated the characters’ heights based on their character design and average height based on ethnicity.

We assumed that all the characters are Canadians based on where the game took place.

First, according to CBC, an average Canadian male stands at about 5 feet and 10 inches. So, we estimated Will Mackenzie to be about this height.

Next, the average Canadian female stands at 5 feet and 4 inches from the same source. We assumed Anna to be about this height.

Finally, from this picture of Will and Astrid Greenwood, she is a few inches shorter. We approximated her to be above average in height and about four inches shorter than Will at the height of 5 feet and 6 inches.

EXPLANATION OF THE LONG DARK CHARACTERS’ AGES

First, we got Will’s age from The Long Dark Fandom Wiki page.

Then, the same source estimated Anna’s age to be between 20 to 30 years old.

Lastly, Astrid is Will’s ex-wife and she must be close in age to Will although slightly younger. Therefore, we approximated Astrid to be about 40 years old.
