Word Party’s youngest member Lulu was voiced by Dorien Davies, who is also a writer, and puppeteer. She started voice acting in 2001 with the short film Trysting. According to IMDb, her other notable works include the tv series The Little Mermaid Live! This year, along with her work in Word Party, she also lends her voice in Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time as Dizzy.

John Tartaglia is behind the baby wallaby’s cute voice, and he also occasionally writes episodes for the series. Tartaglia had been a recurring and long-time cast in Sesame Street since the 90s, and he had voiced Muppet, Oscar, and Ernie, to name a few. In 2021, he appears on screen as Gobo in the TV series Fraggle Rock.

Franny, the baby cheetah, is voiced by Donna Kimball, who is known for her work in Sigmund and the Monsters and Catch Me If You Can. She is also currently working alongside Kip’s voice actor in Fraggle Rock.

Lulu’s best friend, Bailey the elephant, got his lovely voice from Victor Yerrid. Yerrid is also a director and is currently working for the TV series Crank Yankers. He is a veteran actor with at least 60 credits under his name and is mainly known for his work in Sid the Science Kid and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Tilly, the baby tortoise, is one of the bilingual characters in the series. She is very soft-spoken and is voiced by Alice Dinnean. Dinnean had previously worked for The Muppets, and this year, she is one of the puppeteers in Crank Yankers. The voice actors of Word Party had worked together a lot in different TV series, and she was casted in at least three projects alongside Bailey’s voice actor.

Of course, the show wouldn’t be complete without the narrator! Patina Miller is behind the fantastic voice of the storyteller in Word Party. Aside from the series, she works on two other projects as an on-screen actor in The Many Saints of Newark and Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
