Brace yourselves as our list of wickedly drawn Poison-type Pokémon in real life are not for the faint of heart.
We’re starting strong with a nightmare-fueled, Golbat. Artist Mickael Lelièvre posted this 3D model in his ArtStation page. You can see how different his artwork is when you put it side by side with the game or original design of Golbat. The color and details added made this version a unique and outstanding one!
The terrifying Golbat is just an appetizer; we’re slowly going to our main course. Deviant artist JRCoffronIII didn’t come to play. His version of Weezing is challenging and, without a doubt, disturbing. If you place this artwork with the in-game appearance of Weezing, you can tell how nightmarish the Pokémon has become. Its teeth are more prominent, and its facial expression shouts wrath!
Next, this Gastly looks like a wandering soul. But, instead of the Pokémon’s usual cartoonish appearance, artist SoupAndButter’s interpretation is on a different level. He gave Gastly a detailed face structure and a complete set of sharp teeth. With this, your opponents will have a hard time dealing with this Pokémon.
As we move on, you’re going to witness a realistic Haunter. But, of course, since we’re featuring JoshuaDunlop, it’s not surprising to see such excellent artwork. The artist stayed faithful to Haunter’s original design while incorporating his own style. He made the Pokémon’s form transparent to achieve a ghost-like appearance.
Now, let’s move on to Haunter’s evolved form. But, first, let’s give artist Prophet-Blaq a round of applause for delivering a daunting Gengar. Once again, we have witnessed how the artist’s style gave justice to the Pokémon. Furthermore, we can clearly visualize that this is the proper and precise version for Gengar. But now, it looks like Gengar is ready to clash!
Next, we’re once again featuring another JoshuaDunlop sensational artwork. Unfortunately, this huggable-looking Muk is a rather dangerous one. As the details reveal, you can see that the Pokémon is coated with a poisonous and acidic substance. We appreciate how the artist included such details!
For the final JoshuaDunlop artwork, we’re presenting a lifelike version of Ekans. This artwork is filled with details that will surely capture your attention. When it comes to portraying the Pokémon realistically, Joshua slays this! His style is definitely admirable and noteworthy! Looking at this realistic Ekans, it feels like it will slither out of our screens.
Now, to end our list, we can’t miss this gigantic and goosebump-inducing Nidoking. Once again, artist arvalis’s versions are one of a kind. His ideas are absolutely fresh and innovative. This Pokémon’s appearance lives up to its name, a king! It got the right amount of intimidating aura that makes this artwork look alive!
