APARTMENT IN BURJ KHALIFA
According to the Sun Website, the couple purchased this apartment in Burj Khalifa Tower, Dubai, back in 2009. And as stated in the Times of India, this property is worth about $5,000,000. With about 160 stories, the Burj Khalifa Tower is known to be the tallest building in the world. Other than that, its elevator also has the longest travel distance. In addition, the layout of the skyscraper exhibits the local Hymenocallis flower. And as stated on the Britannica page, the Y-shaped plan reduces the wind forces inside the tower. So, considering the view, structure, and reputation, this apartment is definitely a great purchase.
The football ace splashed on the property in the highest tower in the world in 2009 and is still believed to be the owner now. However, the couple has kept glimpses of their apartment quite hidden and rarely shares photos from within on social media – unlike their other properties. According to the Times of India, the family bought the apartment for around $5million (£4million). Burj Khalifa is a great tourist attraction in Dubai, with people from all over the world coming to its observation bridges for an uninterrupted view of the city.
As if having one property in Dubai was not enough, the family also owns a Villa in Dubai. “David realized he was not going to be able to spend any time in Dubai,” a source previously told the News of the World. “He’s got his commitments in Los Angeles, and it’s a long trip, especially when he still has to spend a lot of time in London – so he discussed it with Victoria and decided that the Dubai place would be an exceptional present for her parents.”
