Ranked: 10 Amazing Fanmade Grass Pokémon Evolutions

These brilliant artists gave our beloved Grass-type Pokémons’ appearances a creative twist. With that, here’s a list of the best fanmade Grass Pokémon evolutions!

1. GROOKEY

This 8th Generation Pokémon looked sharp in its new evolution. Artist Mat4265’s version made Grookey’s first evolution was called Branchimp and possessed a well-defined built than the original one. His second evolution, called Baboodoo, is a mix between a mandrill and a baboon, originally a Gorilla. What a neatly designed evolution!

2. ROWLET

We can’t miss Rowlet’s fanmade evolution; that’s why the artist DinaNorlund served us her version. Starting with its second evolution, instead of Dartrix, it is called Rowling and possessed sharper features. Meanwhile, its epic-looking third evolution is called a Fearalith that stands with a taller height and pronounced owl-eagle features.

3. ODDISH

An interesting lore called Mohavo Region was created by artist tubz_az, and his version of Oddish’s evolution is worth checking! Instead of a purple-green color palette, he designed it to have a western-like theme. The creativity of artist tubz_az oozes out as Oddish, Gloom, and Vileplume all looked good in a white-cream color palette!

4. CACNEA

This 3rd Generation Pokémon now got a second evolution, all thanks to artist GregAndrade. From an unevolved Cacnea followed by its second evolution called Cacturne, it now got its third evolution called Cacrible. Cacrible resembles a scarecrow and is equipped with three new powers that are a good fit for this evolution.

5. TURTWIG

You won’t believe what this adorable Pokémon looked like in its Alolan form. Artist Phatmon gave Turtwig’s third evolution an intimidating yet epic-looking version. Since the Alola is a region in Pokémon known for its islands, Torterra’s new design delivers an “Aloha” vibes. Instead of a tree, it carries an island on its back.

6. PETILIL

This Pokémon also got its own Alola Form from artist locomotive111. Petilil’s first evolution, called Liligant, looked charming in this form. Its appearance was altered slightly; the crown was now centered, has a flower necklace, and has a fire-like veil. We wouldn’t mind having this version in the Pokémon franchise.

7. BUDEW

Budew is the second Pokémon where artist locomotive111 gave its third evolution an Alola Form. From a cute-looking form, followed by its first evolution called Roselia, the third evolution called Roserade retains its elegance with its Alola Form. It now possessed two identical flowers as hands, a hat, and gown-like clothing.

8. LOTAD

The last Pokémon in this list that artist locomotive111 designed its third evolution is Lotad. From an unevolved Lotad followed by its second evolution called Lombre, the third phase is called Ludicolo that Joseon inspired. Instead of its typical poncho, Ludicolo is dressed in Hanbok but still got its lively character.

9. BULBASAUR

Of course, we can’t forget our beloved Bulbasaur. Artist Phatmon once again delighted us with her creativity with her Alola Venusaur version. Starting with the unevolved Bulbasaur, followed by its second form called Ivysaur, the Alola Venusaur has a pink color. The reason for this is that the Dragon Fruit inspires this version.

10. EXEGGCUTE

Before Exeggcute’s Alolan Form, artist Luan13yuki designed its unique third form. The sequence for this starts with an unevolved Exeggcute followed by the second evolved form called Exeggutor. Then here comes Exegwise that is succeeded by Exeggutor Alolan Form. The Luan13yuki version of Exegwise doesn’t bear feet but possessed hands.
