Top 5 Beautiful Wolves

Wolves are animals that live and find food in packs. These are social animals that look for the desired prey together as their means of survival. They feed on smaller animals like fish, birds, lizards, snakes, and many others. Hence, we’ve listed these top five beautiful wolves that you can check each one below.

1. ARCTIC WOLF

The most beautiful of all wolves is the Arctic Wolf dazzles with its white coat and penetrating eyes. These wolves are usually smaller than gray wolves, and they have slightly shorter muzzles, smaller ears, and shorter legs that will help them reduce exposure to the frigid air.

Besides that, they live alone or in packs of about six wolves and are usually all white with a very thick, insulating coat. Fortunately, the Arctic wolf is the least threatened of all grey wolf and subspecies populations because of its isolation that prevents them from being in contact with humans.

2. HUDSON BAY WOLF

The Hudson Bay Wolf is considered to be subspecies of the Gray Wolf. They usually have a light grey and yellowish to creamy white coloration. Their hair gets lighter in the winter.

Hudson Bay Wolves have medium-sized bodies measuring from 28 to 36 inches high. Their weight varies from 80 to 140 pounds. The females are usually smaller than males. This wolf is mesmerizing to look at; they give out a very powerful energy.

3. MACKENZIE VALLEY WOLF

The Mackenzie Valley Wolf is considered an endangered gray wolf subspecies. The coat’s color varies and maybe one or a combination of grey-black, white, cream, or yellow-white shades.

The Mackenzie Valley Wolf has powerful, long legs that help increase their average mileage cover even in deep snow and rough rocky mountainsides and pathways. The Mackenzie Valley Wolf also has powerful muscles in the neck region, giving it a very stern look.

4. LABRADOR WOLF

The Labrador wolf is considered subspecies of the gray wolf, primarily found in Labrador and northern Quebec. The species generally weighs around 30 kilograms, and that’s the average weight of most wolf species.

Besides that, its coat is pale light gray, tending toward white, though it can also be a “dark grizzly grey.” The Labrador wolf’s dark look makes it a hard-to-tame type of dog. It brings back memories of the wolves in the Twilight movies.

5. ALEXANDER ARCHIPELAGO WOLF

The Alexander Archipelago wolves roam the islands and coastal mainland in the Alexander Archipelago, a network of more than 1,000 islands, glaciated peaks, and deep river valleys in remote southeast Alaska. They are smaller and darker than the typical gray wolf, with a denser coat.

Their average weight is between 30 to 50 pounds. Besides that, they are 3.5 feet long and stand around two feet high. They also have a black or very dark gray coat. Their dark color gives them an exquisite and mysterious look.
